(mirror palace), and good views of surrounding hills and Maota Lake. - See Hawa Mahal (“Palace of Winds”) — the famous façade with many small
windows (jharokhas). Great photo spot. - Explore City Palace & museum — royal architecture, courtyards, artifacts, royal
portraits. - Visit Jantar Mantar — historic astronomical observatory with sundials and celestial
instruments. - Evening: wander through bazaars such as Johri Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar — shop for
textiles, jewelry, handicrafts; enjoy local Rajasthani cuisine.
- Depart early from Jaipur toward Ajmer.
• In Ajmer, visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a major Sufi pilgrimage place with spiritual
ambience.
• See Adhai Din Ka Jhopra, an old mosque with striking Indo-Islamic architecture.
• Stroll around Ana Sagar Lake & Daulat Bagh Gardens, enjoy lakeside views,
maybe boating. - Continue to Pushkar.
• Visit Brahma Temple, one of few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma.
• Walk around Pushkar Lake and its bathing ghats (52 ghats), observe rituals, enjoy
peaceful lakeside ambience.
• Climb or get to Savitri Mata Temple on Ratnagiri Hill (viewpoint) for panoramic
views over Pushkar town & lake.
• Explore local bazaar in Pushkar — incense, tapestries, handicrafts, spiritual vibe. - After dusk (or in morning of next day, depending on travel), drive toward Udaipur.
You may arrive late evening. Settle into hotel; relax by the lake if time permits.
- Explore City Palace, Udaipur — magnificent royal complex overlooking Lake
Pichola; courtyards, museums, galleries, views. - Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola; visit Jag Mandir or any islands; see the palatial
hotel(s) on lake. - Visit Jagdish Temple, close to City Palace — traditional architecture, carved pillars.
- Visit Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the Maidens) — landscaped gardens with
fountains, lotus pools, peaceful environment. - Optional: Karni Mata Temple (on hill) for views over Udaipur and lakes; sunset
from there is beautiful. - Evening: enjoy rooftop dinner with lake/palace view; explore Udaipur markets
(Hathi Pol, Bada Bazaar) for local crafts, miniature paintings.
- Depart Udaipur for Jodhpur. Travel distance is approx 250-255 km by road;
journey takes about 5 to 6 hours depending on stops/traffic. - Arrive in Jodhpur, check into hotel (ideally in or near old blue city or fort area).
- Visit Mehrangarh Fort — one of the most imposing forts in Rajasthan; scenes from
atop give views of the blue-painted old city, ramparts, palaces inside, museum. - Visit Jaswant Thada, located near Mehrangarh — marble cenotaph with peaceful
gardens, nice for relaxing after fort. - Evening: explore the Clock Tower & Sardar Market — bustling markets, spices,
textiles, colourful stalls, local life.
- Start with Umaid Bhawan Palace (if open) — grand palace, museum, gardens; one
part still royal residence. - Visit Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, adjacent to Mehrangarh — natural landscape,
walking trails, interesting geology & plant life. - See Kaylana Lake (approx 8 km from city centre) — scenic lake, good for relaxing
walk, bird-watching if in season. - Optionally visit Machia Biological Park near Kaylana to see wildlife, nature trails.
- Afternoon or evening: more local exploring or shopping, perhaps visit Mandore
Gardens (ancient temples, memorials, gardens) if time allows.
- If time before departure, revisit favourite spots or catch sunrise view from a fort
rampart. - Last-minute shopping in local markets (for rug/handicrafts, leather goods, spices).
- Depart Jodhpur by your onward travel (flight / train / road).
