Day 1 DELHI
On arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to a chauffeur driven vehicle. Later you are driven to the hotel for check in. Delhi, the capital of India has a fascinating history and a stimulating present. Believed to be the legendary Indraprastha described in the epic “The Mahabharata” Delhi has been the seat of power for a number of dynasties – the Rajputs, The Muslim invaders from the North, the Afghan dynasties followed by Tughlaqs, Sayyads, the Lodis and the Mughals, who continued the imperial line, until British days. Evening proceed for an orientation tour covering India Gate, Parliament house, Rashtrapati Bhawan (The President’s House -1929) and the Government buildings (1921-30) decorated with colorful lights on the eve of Diwali festival. Day 2 DELHI
After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid (optional), Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar 73 meters high built in 1193 AD which tapers from a 15 m diameter base to just 2.5 m at the top. The walls have intricately carved quotations from the Koran (the holy book of the Muslims) and are one of the most perfect towers of the Persian world, Lodhi gardens and Jantar Mantar. Visit Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Rajghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, a simple square platform of black marble marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948. Originally it was the name of a historic ghat of Old Delhi on the banks of Yamuna river and later the memorial area was also called Raj Ghat. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns at one end. A stone footpath flanked by lawns leads to the walled enclosure that houses the memorial. Day 3 DELHI – AGRA-DELHI
Early Morning after breakfast drive to Agra. Arrive at Agra. proceed for a sightseeing tour of Agra includes visit to Agra Fort, the gigantic Fort built by Emperor Akbar serves as vantage position to have the splendid sight of The Taj Mahal. Evening visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Taj Mahal,the most beautiful, the most romantic, the most mysterious and the most photographed building in the world built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 AD as a memorial to his beloved queen, Mumtaz Mahal.(Closed on all Fridays). This pure white marble mausoleum took 22 years and 22,000 craftsmen to build. Late Evening back to Delhi.Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 4 DELHI – AMRISTAR
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Delhi airport. Arrive at Amristar. Check in at hotel. Late afternoon proceed Attari Wagah border to experience the Indo-Pakistan parade and lowering of the flag ceremony. The lowering of the flags ceremony at the Attari-Wagah border is a daily ceremony that the security forces of India (Border Security Force) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have jointly. overnight stay at hotel
Day 5 AMRISTAR
After breakfast proceed to sightseeing visit Golden temple It is the pre-eminent spiritual site of Sikhism. Jallianwala Bagh is a 6.5-acre public garden which holds national importance. It stands as a memorial to all those who lost their lives during the open-fire by notorious General Dyer. Later visit the Hall Bazar for shopping and later have an evening visit once again to Golden temple to have a great look with all the night light illumination around the whole area .
Day 6 AMRISTAR
Check out from the resort and drive to Amritsar Airport to board the flight to your onward destination feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent with us.
